Mattea Rossettie

Ms. Rossettie works as the Research Coordinator at the Language Research Center. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University in 2014, with a dual major in Animal Behavior and Comparative Humanities and Dance minor. As an undergraduate, her research with nonhuman primates focused on the use of gestural cues by capuchin monkeys; however, she also participated in behavioral and cognitive studies with Bucknell’s hamadryas baboons and squirrel monkeys. In addition to her efforts to organize and implement testing schedules and coordinate research tasks, she is actively involved in programs of research in the COMIC lab and in Dr. Sarah Brosnan’s CEBUS lab at the LRC. In particular, she is working in COMIC on programs related to self-control in capuchin monkeys and chimpanzees.
